ARTICLE 1: PREAMBLE

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform users of the Maintenance Coach application:

  • About how their personal data is collected. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify a user. This may include, but is not limited to, full name, age, postal or e-mail address, location or IP address ;
  • About the rights they have regarding this data ;
  • About the person responsible for processing the personal data collected and processed ;
  • About the recipients of this personal data ;
  • About the site's cookie policy.

Processing is lawful only if and insofar as at least one of the following conditions is met :

  • The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject ;
  • The processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject ;

  • The processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller ;

ARTICLE 3: PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED IN THE CONTEXT OF NAVIGATION ON THE SITE

Article 3.1 : Data collected

The personal data collected in the context of our activity are the following :

  • E-mail address
  • Name of the organisation to which the person belongs
  • Contract(s) associated with the person
  • UUID (Unique Universal Identifier) of the mobile device.

This data is collected and processed for the following purposes :

  • Authentication
  • Rights and contracts management

Article 3.2 : Method of data collection

When you use our application, the following data are automatically collected:

  • E-mail address
  • Name of the organisation to which the person belongs
  • Contract(s) associated with the person
  • UUID (Unique Universal Identifier) of the mobile device.

No other personal data is collected by the Maintenance Coach solution.

The company may retain certain personal data beyond the above-mentioned time limits in order to fulfil its legal or regulatory obligations.

Article 3.3 : Data hosting

The Maintenance Coach solution is hosted by :

No data is passed on to a third party or partner.

No cookies are used in the Maintenance Coach solution.

Article 3.4 : Authorisations of the application

  • Camera : The camera is used to take pictures and recognise QR codes. The QR code, in text form, is transmitted only to the Maintenance Coach server.
  • Storage : Allows the Maintenance Coach application to read and write to your internal memory, especially in « offline » mode.
  • Microphone : No microphone data is used in the Maintenance Coach application.
  • GPS location : No GPS location data is used in the Maintenance Coach application.

ARTICLE 5 : USER'S RIGHTS REGARDING DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING

Any user concerned by the processing of his/her personal data may avail him/herself of the following rights, in accordance with the European Regulation 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act (Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978) :

  • Right of access, rectification and erasure of data (provided for in Articles 15, 16 and 17 of the GDPR respectively) ;
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR) ;
  • Right to restrict (Article 18 GDPR) and object to data processing (Article 21 GDPR) ;
  • Right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on an automated process ;
  • Right to determine the fate of data after death ;
  • Right to have recourse to the competent supervisory authority (Article 77 of the GDPR).

You have the right to access your personal data, as well as the right to rectify and delete your personal data. You can also define directives concerning the fate of your personal data after your death. In addition, you have the right to request the restriction of processing. Moreover, you may request the communication, in a structured and standard format, of the personal data you have provided to THALES and which are processed using automated processes.

The publisher of the Maintenance Coach application reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time to ensure that users of the site comply with applicable law.
